"Refresh, renew and recharge tired eyes enriched with C-brighter technology. By harnessing the power of maracuja fruit, vitamin C and advanced botanicals, this skintuitive eye treatment visibly hydrates, firms and brightens the delicate eye area."
Today, I'm doing another post on another Tarte product and as I mention in every post I do from this brand, I have to say I can shamelessly (or not) say that I am obsessed with Tarte products. It started about 3 years ago and I have been addicted ever since, and I don't see this addiction going away anytime soon. This post is about the eye cream or treatment as they call it, and the first time I tried this, it came with a kit they included this in, and I believe it was the first time they launched this product. Since then I have used about two deluxe travel sizes and two full sizes as well, so I have been using this a long time as you can tell.
This eye treatment comes in a purple glass jar with wooden screw cap. I personally love the packaging, it's very beautiful and classy yet simple and I love how Tarte adds the wood finish into their products. It gives it a earthy but elegant feel that I absolutely love. The eye treatment is filled to the top with a plastic cover but of course I have used it so that's why the picture looks used and not that full. It is white in color and it has thick, smooth texture. A tiny amount will cover the entire eye area. It is fragrance-free and non-irritating and I like this for my normal to dry skin, very dry eye area. I love using this at night, because it gives a lot of moisture and hydration while I'm sleep. Another reason I like to use this is the Vitamin C in this. I usually include Vitamin C to my night time skin care. Also the fact that this has no SPF, makes it perfect to use at night instead of the morning. As for the testing if the Vitamin C works, I don't have any darkness under my eyes, just a slight shadow so I haven't noticed much difference since I started using this. If you want to purchase this because of the Vitamin C and want it to brighten the eye area, I don't think this is the best eye cream for that purpose. If you are looking for a moisturizing, hydrating eye cream, I definitely recommend this.
