Benefit Gimme Brow - Review

Hello to you!! I hope you had a good weekend and an easy day so far. Today I'm doing a quick, short review for this tiny Benefit Brow fiber gel. I have heard good stuff about this, so I was happy to try it out for myself and see what everyone was talking about.

This little thing is really small. It's thin and if you have ever tried any of the travel sized or deluxe sample mascaras from Sephora, it's basically the same size. It comes in only two shades, light/medium and medium/deep. I have medium/deep. The brush is very small, so I would think this can work with any shape of brow, whether it's thin or thick. The formula is a on the wet side, it has fibers as well as colour/tint to it. It's very pigmented and a lot of product come out on the brush. I personally like to clean off the brush a little, so I don't get too much product and mess up in case. The gel sticks to the brows very easily and darkens it, it also fills in the sparse areas really naturally. It doesn't clump the brow hairs and also, it doesn't make them hard, as some would do. It dries not too quick, so I can work with it a bit, but it doesn't take long to dry either after I'm done with applying it. I've found that the very tip of the brush can be used to draw and the actual brush, to fill in any space and also darken the brow hairs. I personally use this in two forms. Just use it by itself for days that I'm either in a hurry and don't have time to spend much time on my brows, or for minimal makeup days that I just don't want to do anything specific and too defined. Another way I use this is, I use a brow powder and use this to set it, and darken my brows a bit as well as fill in any space I might have missed. The color of the tint is dark cool brown. It's not warm at all and I really like that about this. I like to use a more cool tone color for my brows instead of warm color. It looks more natural and not a obvious.

phewh! that wasn't such a quick sort review at wall now, was it? I guess I can't just give you some of my thoughts on a product. I have to include everything, which is how it should be anyways right? Overall, I really like this brow product. It's pretty expensive for this tiny tube but it works really well, so I guess that's the reason for the price.
